PHILADELPHIA, PA – Printing Impressions Magazine, a division of North American Publishing has announced the 2014 list of the 400 largest printing companies in North America. The PI-400 has been published for 31 years. On the list for the second consecutive year is K-B Offset Printing, Inc., of State College, PA, also known as theprinters.com, and Seiders Printing Company.
“There are approximately 27,000 printing companies in the U.S. and an estimated 3,000 additional firms in Canada, with total combined shipments of over eighty billion dollars in 2013,” according to Ray Caravan, CEO of K-B. The PI-400 list includes large, publicly trade companies like R.R. Donnelley, Cenveo, and Quad Graphics, but is populated primarily by privately held middle market companies like K-B.
